Hello my loves, I am back with a brand new TDP Loves, and this week I am sharing some of my favourite pieces from the stunning new Thalassa collection from Girl and the Sun. These pieces and the Girl and the Sun ethos takes that magic feeling that you have on holidays and injects it into your everyday wardrobe. I instantly fell in love with the dreamy range of dresses and two piece sets that are designed to evoke the feeling of being away even while at home. A truly meaningful and intentional brand, your Girl and the Sun pieces will be cherished and worn on repeat for many years to come. Let me take you through what I selected from the range, my genuine thoughts and where I would wear these beautiful pieces.

Girl and the Sun started right here in Australia in 2015, when founder Zoe Vafias saw the need for beautiful and accessible destination styles at an affordable price point. With 16 years experience working in the fashion industry, Zoe was passionate about creating something that couldn't really be found anywhere else, and to capture the feeling of a destination holiday even while at home. With a strong message of inclusivity and freedom, Girl and the Sun showcases neutral tones and luxe, effortless shapes. I also love that Girl and the Sun are are continually working to improve all elements of there brand with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact, by choosing lower impact materials in their product and order packaging, including compostable postage satchels, eco-friendly recycled tissue paper and printing on Envirocare 100% recycled paper stock. This is a key part of the brand, and they are committed to continue to work towards improving in-house practices to reduce their carbon footprint.
Let's get to the pieces that I selected from the Thalassa collection! From opening the package, discovering the range and trying on the pieces - it really is a beautiful experience. The comfort and quality is next level, and I know these pieces will be a coveted part of my wardrobe for many wears to come! First up is the Pablo Top and Gilly Shorts in the stunning Thalassa print, which is exclusive to Girl and the Sun. Super comfortable and light, simply add some slides and a cross body bag and you are out the door. The Danika top, also in the Thalassa print is also a perfect match with the Gilly Shorts. Wear it unbuttoned and layered with a crop or buttoned down for a chic look. This look would be perfect for a summer brunch, coffee with the gals or a day at the beach over swimmers.

Next up I chose the Gala Mini dress in white. Think your favourite, go-to, flowy dress that you can effortlessly throw on and know you will feel comfortable yet styled. The beautiful, lightweight linen blend, tiered skirt and relaxed fit can be dressed up with heels, simple, chic jewelry and a clutch or paired with sandals and a tote for paired back summer days. This dress would be great for a casual night out, family lunch or a day browsing at the shops and enjoying coffee and cake.

The final piece and star of the show is the Tish Dress in the Thalassa print. I love the tie sleeves and open back, this dress gives something a bit different but is still super chic and stylish. Again, this dress can be dressed up or down and is so versatile, you really can wear this piece anywhere and everywhere. Maintaining the relaxed fit in a mini (but not too short), this piece is one of my all time favourites.
